Date & time: Monday, 19 th February 2018, 4 pm to 7 pm

Designing cities and the life of the future is a task of today. We are concerned with the way we want to build our cities, taking it as an opportunity to improve where our current systems fail. But – what can we improve? And how?

Together with Ucademy ( we want to welcome you back at Avans after the carnival break to put our minds to some more serious issues again. This time, our
experts are:

1. Tobias Gößling. Tobias teaches Corporate Social Responsibility at Tilburg University and is an active member of the European Business Ethics Network.
2. Johar Boonman. Johar is a trainer at Ucademy, giving classes about, among others, issues of digitalization and privacy. Apart from that he is studying Communication and Multimedia Design at Avans.
3. Lindey Cafsia. Lindey is a product designer at IBI² and Lindezine. His goal is to design our future in a circular way, and with his products he is making good progress towards this goal.

The Symposium will be hosted by Enrique Eckenbach, coordinator of Ucademy and Human Resource Management student at Avans. We are looking forward to an interesting discussion with you on the 19 th !
